The event, which is part of the larger La Sandia Project’s mission to celebrate Rocky Ford’s rich agricultural history and cultural diversity, will showcase the power of art to foster economic and social change. Recent recipient of a prestigious Arts in Society grant, The La Sandia Project has been working to bring vibrant art installations, including sculptures and expansive murals, to Main Street. These installations honor the vital contributions of farm workers and engage the community in meaningful, hands-on activities.
